Users have the opportunity to submit reports and information for inclusion in the portal.

A key feature of Sustainable Tourism Online is the Online Community which provides a platform for tourism professionals to identify appropriate new research, tools and knowledge and participate in ongoing discussions relating to sustainable tourism issues and challenges.

Sustainable Tourism Online comprises both public good information and commercial elements. In the public good area, industry-specific tools, knowledge and research will be made available free of charge to tourism planners, professionals, businesses and researchers.

Sustainable Tourism Online will be hosted and managed by EC3 Global. A Research and Intelligence Group will be established by EC3 Global to inform the further development of the portal.
